Tips for Selecting Chips
When faced with various chips in the market, do you know how to make a choice?

The 3 "core indicators" you must know when choosing a lamp filament
✅ Color Rendering Index (Ra): The key to color reproduction
• Ra > 95: Suitable for children's rooms (true color of picture books), clothing stores (clothes do not change color), restaurants (food looks more attractive)
• Ra > 80: Basic household lighting is sufficient, below 80 will cause color distortion (such as red becoming darker)
✅ Blue Light Hazard Level: The hard standard for eye protection
• RG0 exemption level (blue light value ≤ 0.8): Suitable for pregnant women, children, and study rooms. Can be used for a long time without harming the eyes (such as Sunlike with a blue light value of only 0.3)
• RG1 level and above: Can be used for commercial lighting, but caution is needed for household use (especially avoid using in bedrooms)
✅ Light Efficiency (lumens/watt): Energy-saving and power-efficient here
• 100+ lumens/watt: Highly efficient and energy-saving. Under the same brightness, it saves 30% power compared to ordinary chips
As a commercial lighting factory with a history of 30 years, GYlights has always adhered to the principle of "quality first". We will match you with cost-effective and scene-appropriate brand chips. Here are some of our experiences in using the chips.
Bridgelux Series: "Zero Color Difference" for Home Decoration
✅ Advantages: Color tolerance ≤ 2 steps (no color difference with multiple lamps), new cyan light spectrum (relieves eye fatigue), RG0 level blue light
•Suitable for: Whole-house basic lighting.
Osram/Philips/Cree: Workshop "Efficiency Champion"
✅ Advantages: High luminous efficacy (120+ lumens/watt), strong stability (light loss < 15% within 5 years)
•Suitable for: Large-scale engineering lighting in shopping malls, underground garages, factories, etc. (high brightness and durability)
Seiko of Japan: "Double Power Players" in Low Temperature and Warm Light
✅Advantages: -20℃ stable illumination, Ra97+2700K warm light (enhancing food color), consistent color temperature
•Suitable for: bakeries (warm light to stimulate appetite), American-style home decoration (atmosphere creation), outdoor low-temperature environments (yard lights)
Don't believe in the "full spectrum" gimmick: Prioritize the "RG0 exemption level" certification. Low-priced full spectrum products may have excessive blue light. In multi-lamp scenarios, Choose by scenario without blindly following big brands: Osram's strong light is suitable for industrial use.
Remember: There are no perfect chips, only the right choice for the specific scenario!
